Cooking School took up all my writing energy. (I was surprised to find out there is a lot of homework/book work at cooking school.) But now it has reached it's conclusion and I have time to blog again! So, there is much to catch up on. I'll have to do it a little at a time.

Today is Sunday and we're enjoying a relaxed morning. Otis is wearing his old taekwondo uniform. He hasn't taken it off since we watched Karate Kid the original movie on Friday night. He and Sofia are watching Cinderella II in the family room. Patrick and I are drinking our coffee while catching up with the IPhone (Patrick) and blogging (me). Yesterday we spent the day at Mom and Dad Voelker's house. Otis got his long promised Wii day. We all played games and the kids ran through the sprinkler on a gorgeous and hot day. I love summertime!!

Pictured left is Sofia's art studio. She set this up all on her own and paints during rest time. I am very proud of and sometimes intimidated by her organizational skills. She is a natural!
Patrick has been focusing on the kids bike riding skills, taking them out for rides daily.
